Elite Mare Pikante (Pik Solo/Windy Winter xx/Windy Sands xx) retired in 2007.

A beautiful black mare, PikanteÕ (known as Fanny) was the first mare in North America to score an overall 8 in her American Hanoverian Society Mare Performance Test.  She received an 8 in every category.  In her mare inspection, she received an overall 8 with a 9 for the walk.  Fanny was one of the original mares selected for the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. 

 

An exceptional producer, PikanteÕ s offspring have successfully competed in the USEF Festival of Champions, USDF Horse of the Year, and two Horse of the Year Finalists!

--- Allegra (Agincourt) A foal injury prevented Allegra from a show career.  She became a successful broodmare for her new owner, producing 4 Premium Oldenburg foals to date.

--- Gibraltar (Gold Luck) 2006: Mount of the USDF Dressage Seat Equitation Champion. Successful in the dressage for his new owner.  He was ranked 7th nationally in USDF Adult Amateur at training level..

--- Ghita (Gold Luck)  2007:  USEF Dressage Festival of Champions, Gladstone, NJ:  Reserve Champion, Junior Division. USDF Horse of the Year in Materiale, 4/5 year old mares.  On her way to this honor, she was a winner at Dressage at Devon, placed 4th and 5th in the National Young Horse Classes at Devon, and competed successfully in the National Young Horse Championships in New Jersey.  As a young horse, Ghita was a multiple Champion in-hand at USDF Breed Shows, earning 3rd place in the USDF Horse of the Year awards.

--- Chopin SF (Contucci)  USDF Horse of the Year finalist in two divisions in 2005.  In his first year under saddle, Chopin SF was 3rd in Materiale for 3 yr old colts and geldings with a score of 77.7%  Chopin SF was a multiple Champion in-hand over the last two years.  In 2005 he was 4th place nationally in the USDF DSHB Horse of the Year awards.  In his first training level test in 2006, Chopin SF scored a 74+% winning the class.  The judgeÕs written comment was WOW!

--- Remington SF (Rienzi) USDF Horse of the Year finalist in 2005, earning 5th place in Materiale, 4/5 yr old colts and geldings, with a score of 76.4%.  He was Champion in-hand at 3 out of 4 USDF Dressage Sport Horse Shows.

--- Ramzes SF (Rienzi) was rated as outstanding as his American Hanoverian Society foal inspection.  The commission said he was a perfect example of what breeding could accomplish for the rider – the horse was elastic, uphill with suspension and should be easy for the rider to train – the trainer would not have to create these movements.  Entered training 2007.

--- La Jolla SF (Linaro), still a youngster.  This lovely filly is FannyÕs last foal.  She looks very like her mother.  When mature, ÔJulesÕ will be introduced to the broodmare band as a replacement for her mother.
